Why is the shop price lower than MRP?

MRP is the maximum a seller may charge, not the usual price. Branded electricals like wires and MCBs commonly sell 25-45% below MRP; paint and sanitaryware 5-20% below. If a contractor bills close to MRP, ask for the dealer price.
